Wordless Wednesday: Fall, Fading

    1. Hi, thanks. The first two shots are from a Japanese Maple that’s in my back yard; it was there when I bought the house 15 years ago. This is the first year the leaves turned; normally they just shrivel and fall off as soon as the days shorten, in September or early October. This year it held its leaves until a few weeks ago, then they turned all sorts of orange, yellow, red, and purple. Apparently that’s how nature makes confetti!
